You need more than just colorful replaceable bands to make your Samsung Galaxy Watch look classy. Consider also to add a degree of personality to your model with selective watch faces.
The best Samsung Galaxy Watch faces are the ones that give you the best user experience.
Whether you’re a minimalist who loves to keep things simple or you want to see more stats on your Galaxy Watch’s welcome screen, there’s a good watch face for you.
Below are 12 of my favorite recommendations:
1. Simple Analog
The Simple Analog retains the finest tradition watch face we’ve had in vintage and standard watches for years. And it’s a perfect option to add to your Galaxy Watch if you’re looking for a higher, optimum level of simplicity.
Simple Analog lets you alter your Galaxy Watch’s background, allowing you to make it lighter or darker depending on your preference. Moreover, it supports up to 23 unique widgets, including battery, calories, floors, heart rate, and steps.
2. Health Dashboard
Health Dashboard keeps the display of your Galaxy Watch clean and simple. Instead of representing all your health and fitness data in the middle, Health Dashboard evenly distributes the data around its edges.
The details present around the edges of the Health Dashboard watch face include battery percentage, steps, date, and weather (inclusive of the current temperature). The center of the watch face displays the current time and your heart rate.
3. Modern Minimalist
Designed specifically for Wear OS, the Modern Minimalist delivers a clean and classic appearance on the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
You have the option to adjust Modern Minimalist’s color for a smooth blend with the bands and bezel of the watch. The watch face supports a maximum of two widgets, which are battery level and heart rate.
4. Venom
Venom by Thema is neat, aesthetically inviting, and easily customizable.
Venom lets you mess around with font color and watercolor effects for the primary and secondary colors, so you can create a refined design that appeals to your personal touch. And it allows you to switch between units of measurements.
5. Info Block
Get Info Block if you need a watch face that packs a ton of stats on the welcome screen of your Samsung Galaxy smartwatch.
Developed for Google’s Wear OS, Info Block supports full customization, allowing you to tweak gradient bars, always-on display styles, color themes, and custom complications.
Supported widgets include date, temperature, steps, battery level, time, and heart rate readings.
6. Digital Neon
Are you looking for something distraction free that won’t take much of your time? Get Digital Neon.
Neon Digital lets you get the most out of your watch while staying wholly focused on what matters for the rest of the day.
On screen wake, Neon Digital presents you only a handful of stats, which are your steps, floors, calories burned, battery level, workout minutes, heart rate, and current date and time.
7. E-Look
E-Look accommodates up to 8 data fields at once without making them look squeezed, making it an ideal watch face to consider if you want to interact with multiple complications at once.
By default, E-Look shows current temperature, steps taken, calories burned, date, time, and the battery percentage of both the watch and paired phone.
8. TomCat
Get TomCat if you are interested in a face that gives an old-school vibe. The vintage design can fit any occasion, from business meetings to sports events.
By default, the complications (widgets) on the TomCat watch face are weather at the top, battery level on the left, date and time on the right, number of steps at the bottom.
9. Fresh
Fresh features a seamless color combination for all its elements. It doesn’t clutter the screen, so you see only the most important health and fitness stats on the welcome screen.
Fresh displays time in analog form. At 12 you will see the calories burned icon, at 15 you will see the time and date, at 18 you will see the steps icons, and at 45 you will see the climb icon.
Unfortunately, Fresh won’t blend with some Samsung Galaxy smartwatches because its colors and backgrounds aren’t customizable.
10. Nothing Fancy
Nothing Fancy by Time Flies Watch Faces is so sleek it blends seamlessly with just about any Galaxy Watch bands.
It features eight customizable widget slots, four in the middle and four on the rings around it. There are 5 watch hands, 30 color schemes, 8 unique indexes, and 8 always-on display options.
So far, the biggest problem with Nothing Fancy is it gets quite tedious to scroll through the 30 color schemes to find a customization option.
11. Minimal Digital REO2
Get Minimal Digital RE02 if you need a premium Galaxy Watch face that packs a lot of information on the welcome screen without feeling too busy.
Minimal Digital RE02 has two apps shortcuts on the left side of the screen. You can hide or unhide this depending on your preferences. Plus, you can turn off the seconds’ ticker if you want.
You get 5 slots for heart rate, date, steps, battery, and notifications, but these complications aren’t customizable. The other 2 slots let you switch between complications as you wish.
The always-on display on Minimal Digital RE02 isn’t as busy. It shows only the time, the date, and the battery level.
12. Prime Home OS 2
Prime Home OS 2 by Prado design is a great choice if you need multiple shortcuts.
The face has nine shortcuts total, but only three are customizable. Six shortcuts are for calendar, heart rate, music, messages, settings, and calls. There are also four complications, one on the bottom and three on the side.
While the background of this watch face doesn’t give an “aha” vibe, the multicolor mix still has a high degree of visual appeal.
Prime Home OS 2 has 10 unique icons for customization with different looks between designs. However, the always-on display feels a bit dull with the black overlay on everything but the time.
